Enrichment & Clubs

Extra-curricular activities are firmly embedded in the life of RPPS and take place before and after school every day. Our extensive co-educational clubs programme offers pupils the opportunity either to enhance and extend their personal passions and interests or to experience a new opportunity. From the Summer Term in Reception onwards, every child is encouraged to participate in at least one club per week.

The extra-curricular clubs timetable is continually evolving and changing in response to child feedback and demand and also varies depending on the time of year. However, typical clubs include Art, Football, ICT, Puzzle, Rugby, Debating & Philosophy, Netball, Science, Cricket and Hockey. The majority of clubs are run by RPPS staff free of charge, with outside expertise provided for certain clubs such as Judo, Drama, Karate, Robotics, Dance, Fencing, Ceramics and Ballet at an additional cost per term.
